Cultural Learnings of London for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Craigieburn

There's no better time to write a blog post than on a cold, raining, windy winter's day (4 degrees). 

This past week has been wonderfully busy. I've landed a job,  resigned from said job (wasn't happy with pay and conditions #unionlyf), shopped (but still not enough),  worked some CRT days (to pay for said shopping),  secured a house (can't move in until Wednesday, another AirBnB until then), met some locals, seen a bit of town (won't get sick of seeing Trafalgar Square) and replaced said job with another better one (a lot like CSPS).  See below some statistics on my first week and a half.

• Kylie Minogue sightings - 1 (some guy on Tinder had a photo with her, it still counts)
• Sam Smith Sightings - 0
• Hoodies spotted - 102 (people wear hoodies all the time, which is unnerving when you falsely associate hoodies with people going to mug you) 
• Red buses caught - 6
• Wrong buses caught - 1 
• AirBnB's stayed at - 2
• Properties view for renting - 3 
• Properties I cancelled once getting off at the station- 4 (there are places which look dodgy but are fine, then there are places that are dodgy and you get back on the train) 
• UBER's caught - 3 
• Schools worked at - 3 
• Melbourne standard coffee's consumed - 3 (out of 15)
• The number of social media apps required to communicate with everyone around the world -  10
• Stairs climbed on average per day - 1,353,239 (not half joking either) 
• MAX wait time for a Tube train - 3 minutes
• Time a Londoner will start getting impatient - 1 minute mark
• Kilo's lost - 3kg
• Number of times the word 'up and coming' has been used to describe a suburb- 40
• Times I've been called a FOB - 6 
• KFC's I will visit in the future - 0 (they don't have chicken salt on their chips. Say no more) 
• Days when The Bill aka Police  haven't been in a hurry to attend a crime - 0
